Da 50 anni l’Istituto Universitario Europeo (EUI) fa parte della vita culturale e accademica di Firenze. In occasione della Bright Night, vi invitiamo a scoprire da vicino chi siamo, cosa facciamo e come la ricerca contribuisce a comprendere e affrontare le sfide dell’Europa di oggi e di domani.
Venite a visitare il nostro stand per incontrare ricercatrici e ricercatori dell’EUI, ascoltare le loro esperienze e conoscere il loro lavoro in un ambiente internazionale e multidisciplinare.
Durante la serata potrete anche mettervi alla prova con giochi e attività interattive dedicate all’Europa e all’EUI, pensate per coinvolgere visitatori di tutte le età in modo semplice e divertente.
Ci sarà inoltre l’opportunità di condividere idee e riflessioni sul futuro dell’Europa e dell’EUI, contribuendo a una conversazione aperta che guarda ai prossimi 50 anni.
Inoltre, la mostra OPEN: A new civic space for art and science resterà aperta ai visitatori presso Palazzo Buontalenti fino al 12 ottobre 2026.

EUI – 50 Years of Europe in Florence
For 50 years, the European University Institute (EUI) has been part of Florence’s academic and cultural life. Join us at Bright Night to discover who we are, what we do, and how research helps us understand and address Europe’s challenges—today and in the future.
Visit our stand to meet EUI researchers, hear about their work, and explore what it means to study and conduct research in one of Europe’s leading international institutions for the social sciences.
Throughout the evening, you can also take part in interactive games and activities about Europe and the EUI, designed to engage visitors of all ages in a fun and accessible way.
You’ll also have the opportunity to share your ideas and reflections on the future of Europe and the EUI, helping shape an open conversation about the next 50 years.
Visitors will also be able to explore the exhibition OPEN: A New Civic Space for Art and Science, hosted at Palazzo Buontalenti and open to the public free of charge until 12 October 2026.
We look forward to welcoming you and celebrating 50 years of research, dialogue, and European ideas in Florence.
